Created by Anna Castelli Ferrieri, this 80's Kartell chair won the Compasso d’Oro—one of the highest design accolades. Each piece shows signs of wear consistent with age and use but they remain in very good vintage condition.

The Plona folding chair introduces the best of industrial furniture design to your home.

The Castelli Plona features the same economy that made the Plia foldaway chair a worldwide success. A sunken seat, however, negates the need for a backrest so this retro office chair/ accent chair is even more striking and compact.

Created in the late 1970s by Giancarlo Piretti, these vintage metal chairs are exhibited in the MOMA. This item shows signs of wear consistent with age but remains in very good vintage condition.

This vintage armchair was created by two of the biggest names in twentieth century furniture.

Designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in the 1970’s, the Maralunga chair encapsulates the design philosophy of the era. Its bulbous proportions and sculptural forms also mean it is as relevant now as it was when it was produced.

The Plia folding chair is iconic vintage Italian furniture, selling over seven million units since it was released in the 1960’s.

The Magistretti Veranda sofa is a design classic and among the best pieces of 1980’s postmodern furniture. 

This vintage Italian sofa is highly adaptable. The headrest can be folded upwards and footrests can be folded out from under the seat to completely change the arrangement while still retaining a relatively compact footprint. On each seat, the back rest also reclines with two separate levers.  

Produced by Cassina, this vintage original Veranda sofa promises to be made to the highest standards. It has been re-upholstered in a striped linen to return it to excellent vintage condition.

Why we love it

What, you mean other than the fact it’s a fluorescent bookcase? Let’s be real. You don’t come across these all the time.

There’s a lot more to like once you see beyond the colour. The folds that connect the frame with the shelving are really very pleasing. The rounded edges give this a playful feel that we have yet to tire of (and do not anticipate that we will).

There are also enough shelves — and enough space between the shelves — to make this piece useful. It’s a winner, as far as we can ascertain.

This is a vintage dining table designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. The table is comfortably seats six, but by pulling out the extension on one side, you can seat another two people.

The white Formica top makes makes maintenance super straight forward.

 The paintwork to the frame shows some signs of wear, but this doesn't detract from the table's great functionality.

Why we love them:

There’s a lot going on in these marble side tables. And we mean that in a good way.

Between the mix of colours and the richness of the veining, there is no shortage of allure here. When you take into the account both tables are different yet complementary, you’ve got enough visual stimulation to last a lifetime — which is handy because that’s how long they’ll last if you look after them.

Each tabletop has a corner cutaway so you have more flexibility when arranging them in a cluster. Nice.

There’s enough visual interest in the base and the tabletop to set this piece apart as one of quality. Yet the whole vibe is understated. It’s designed to fit seamlessly into any complementary theme. This one doesn’t compete — it enhances.

As with all stone furniture, it feels like it’ll last a lifetime. Look after it and it will. Works best in medium-to-large spaces.

Brass Hinges and the thick, curved proportions make this high-polished table a standout statement. 

But that's not even the best bit. The table folds to offer a straight edge allowing for it to be used for bar style eating or as a console/sideboard. Flips and tricks.

Why We Love it 

This is a very unusual set, even for us.. The traditional shape gives early Spanish birthing Chairs meets Swedish farmhouse, but the speckled paint work adds a more modern finish to the design.

We don't know a lot about these chairs. We know they're rare, comfy and very cool. That's probably enough for now.
