Vintage X-Line stacking chairs combine retro styling and design brilliance.

Practical, durable and eye-catching, the X-line chair makes a welcome addition to any home. Unlike other stacking chairs, the X-line is designed to slip on to the front of the chair below so you don't need to waste energy piling one on top of another.

The Nuova X-Line chair was created by Danish designer Niels Jørgen Haugesen and made by Magis. These items show wear commensurate with age (1980’s) but remain in good vintage condition.

Consisting of a tempered glass top and a steel, four-columned base, the Serenissimo table strikes the perfect balance between delicate lines and oversized shapes. The turquoise colourway also adds to the playful design elements that characterise this piece.

This rare Vignelli table was produced in the 80’s for Acerbis. It shows minor signs of wear commensurate with age (as pictured) but remains in very good vintage condition.

Why do we love these bright green dining chairs? Why wouldn’t we love them? This is the kind of vintage furniture we’re all about.

While it’s true we don’t know who made or designed them, we don’t much care. Whoever it was did a sterling job.

If you’re in the market for the world’s most comfortable dining chairs then this set may not be for you. But if looks are important and you don’t anticipate using them for hours at a time, then you’re in the right place.

Seriously, though. Hard-wearing, bright green kitchen chairs? Be real.

Why We Love it 

We’re not really into mentioning other brands on this site but this original T-Line chair is giving us the strongest United Colours of Benetton vibe (circa 1997). We sound surprised but we shouldn’t be — we chose to re-upholster it that way.

And we’re pretty pleased with how this bright green armchair turned out. We don’t imagine this is the sort of thing you’ll see often. Might be wrong but it feels unique to us.

The best bit? The T-Line lounge chair is actually super comfortable. A suspended seat means this is a place you could rest and/or work for hours at a time. All things considered… well, it’s just a cool chair.

Why We Love it . 

We don't know loads about this beautiful pair of Finnish armchairs. But we know they are upholstered in Raf Simonds, Kvadrat fabric and feature a beautiful arrangement of push-popper cushions. All wrapped around a tubular steel frame. 

Bold, striking and finished with unique, playful design elements, they would become a feature piece in any room. 

Dating from the 1970’s, these vintage chairs are aligned with the best of late twentieth century furniture. It shows signs of wear commensurate with age but remains in very good condition.

Why we love it:

You can make your own mind up about the look of this 80's armchair (we wouldn’t have sourced it if we didn’t think it was special). 

What you won’t be able to ascertain from the internet is just how comfortable it is. Let us be clear about that: most enjoyable seating arrangement of all time.

The shape means this a suspended gig and that creates a feeling of weightlessness. You can gently bounce or rock until your heart’s content. Seriously, though. It's so good it's worth a weekend trip to Walthamstow.

All original upholstery. It’s never going to qualify as ‘like new’ but if you’re not precious this is a winner.

Too Many cooks? Nonsense. 

Three heavyweight designers (creators of the MOMA inflatable sofa) collaborated to create this distinctive sofa for LIgne Roset. 

This piece comes with a formed plastic base, topped with blue suede and leather throw for extra comfort. We've had the leather topper remade black hide in a matt finish. 

As if that wasn't enough it  comes with a footstool all made to the same high spec.

Brutalist pattern and a strong, sturdy disposition. 

The Hard lines etched into the base, the scale of the slab and the soft, leaf shape make this piece quite the statement. Not sure what that statement is, but probably something along the lines of I'm here for a long time and a good time.
