Why we love it:

We meet a lot of customers who love vintage marble furniture but who simply don’t have the space for it. That’s because, more often than not, it tends to be on the big side. Well, this small marble table is different. 

It’s got all the qualities a marble fan will love. Plenty of rich veining, a sense of permanence and, well, it’s just a great dining table that will suit a lot of people.

This octagonal marble table is all about the colours and the patterns they form. You might have seen these swirling shapes before but the palette feels unique.

The lighter hues will prevent this stone dining table from becoming an overbearing presence in more modest homes. That means it will suit a lot more people than it would if it were a shade or two darker. For us, that’s good news. For you, it might mean more competition. Sorry.

We appreciate a marble table as much as anyone. But sometimes the muted tones of travertine give us everything we need. And that’s where you’re at with this large stone dining table.

There’s enough visual interest in the base and the tabletop to set this piece apart as one of quality. Yet the whole vibe is understated. It’s designed to fit seamlessly into any complementary theme. This one doesn’t compete — it enhances.

As with all stone furniture, it feels like it’ll last a lifetime. Look after it and it will. Works best in medium-to-large rooms.

Why we love it:

Between the earthy colour, surfboard dimensions and V-shaped legs, we’re all over this long marble coffee table. It's presenting a sip of vermouth in front of the setting Mediterranean sun… but maybe we just need a holiday.

Unfortunately, a previous owner has tried to repair some damage; said previous owner is clearly no expert. We sourced it anyway because this blemish doesn’t detract from the allure and because it adds to the history of the item. It has been priced accordingly. 

If you’re not precious and you’re looking for a unique coffee table, you may be in the right place.

There’s a lot going on in these marble side tables. And we mean that in a good way.

Between the mix of colours and the richness of the veining, there is no shortage of allure here. When you take into the account that each table is different yet complementary, you’ve got enough visual stimulation to last a lifetime — which is handy because that’s how long they’ll last if you look after them.

Each tabletop has a corner cutaway so you have more flexibility when arranging them in a cluster. Nice.

Why we love them:

We handle our fair share of vintage marble furniture at ebtd. But we don’t recall too many stone tables that looked like these.

We’re vibing on the shield shape and the colours—grey and orange always looked good together and this is nature’s proof.

We also appreciate the fact that they have a slightly more compact footprint than their square equivalents. People in modest accommodation need not look away.

Travertine furniture doesn’t get as much love as marble furniture. But spend some time with it and you’ll grow to appreciate its subtleties.

Travertine is packed with organic qualities. Regardless of whether these nesting tables are arranged as a cluster or spread throughout the room, you’ll have a stone table set that is uniform and different all at once — if that’s even possible.

We’ve always been fans of leaf-shaped marble coffee tables. Between the curves and the dense veining, there's plenty to admire.

They're also practical. You have to try pretty hard to damage marble furniture like this. Makes it well-suited to busy homes filled with clumsy people (but probably not young children due to the edges).

The white/grey colouration means this stone table has a muted palette that will slip seamlessly into most décor schemes. So that’s nice.

Looks great, feels solid, works pretty much anywhere there’s enough space. Case closed.

We’ve always been a fan of leaf-shaped marble coffee tables. Between the curves, the dense veining and the legs, they give you plenty to look at. Helps also that marble furniture will last until the day you subject it to an obscene amount of force (please don’t smash it to pieces).

White marble tables reflect light back into the room so you needn't worry about this one becoming an oppressive presence in your home. We’ll leave that job to your boiler.

Marble furniture got popular. Shopping for vintage marble furniture became expensive overnight (not our fault, promise).

A marble coffee table like this is a great way to introduce all the benefits without having to remortgage your home/send your parents a begging letter. It’s solid, looks great and will last forever if you treat it right.

Rich veining, stark lines and a nice balance between a wide base and the slim tabletop combine to make this a great piece. Carrara marble always brings a sense of opulence. This way you get it on a budget.

Why we love it:

This a no-nonsense white marble table. It’ll look great in any room and, so long as you don’t take a hammer to it, it’ll last forever. We’re fans of the Carrara finish and it’s here in abundance. Can’t go wrong, basically.

What’s slightly unusual about this stone coffee table is that it has an open base (two unattached, v-shaped legs). That means you could move them out towards the edges of the tabletop for a different look. Also makes transportation easier if you were thinking of collecting it yourself.
