We will always source a marble coffee table that looks as good as this. 

You could lose hours studying its patterns and colours. We don’t recommend you do that in one sitting. We’re saying we don’t expect that you would tire of looking at it if it was in your living room for an extended period of time.

This stone coffee table won’t suit everyone (sharp edges, kids etc) but it will work for a lot of people. The fact that marble is virtually indestructible when preserved within the parameters of everyday use means this could be a long-term relationship.

There’s a lot going on in these marble side tables. And we mean that in a good way.

Between the mix of colours and the richness of the veining, there is no shortage of allure here. When you take into the account that each table is different yet complementary, you’ve got enough visual stimulation to last a lifetime — which is handy because that’s how long they’ll last if you look after them.

It's a great size, a great colour and super comfortable.

We’ve restored the original leather of this vintage Cassina lounge is both true to the era it dates from and current. We do think about things, promise.

Tall, Dark and well-proportioned. That's the saying, right?

A little more sophisticated than our usual finds, we fell for this little bloke when we found him in Belgium. 

Perfect for occasional seating, especially if you want to brood or assert dominance.  

This is a full leather arrangement. Know that there are sings of wear. Many would describe it as a rich patina but that’s a call we’ll allow you to make.

This is the kind of vintage furniture we’re all about. Solid, Stackable and the colour is the best. Ever. 

While it’s true we don’t know who made or designed them, we don’t much care. Whoever it was did a sterling job.

If you’re in the market for the world’s most comfortable dining chairs then this set may not be for you. But if looks are important and you don’t anticipate using them for hours at a time, then you’re in the right place.

Seriously, though. Hard-wearing, bright blue kitchen chairs? Be real.

Why we love it:

If ever there was a vintage cloud sofa then this is it. We would quite happily climb into this every day and let it give us a nice, warm hug forever and ever, amen. 

This Italian sofa also has some neat design features (as indeed all retro Italian lounges do). The low-profile and compact footprint mean you can bring it into the middle of the room; an exposed, wire frame makes this couch unique. None of your friends have one of these.

This curvy sofa comes in its original, brown velvet which offers the perfect contrast to the chrome details. It may have been a few years ago, but they knew they were doing. Theres a couple of marks to the upholstery, but they are minor and do not detract from its knock out design.

Why we love it:

We can’t be certain, but we have a feeling this vintage sofa was in Scarface. Okay, so we don’t actually have that feeling but we can picture it. This B&B Italia lounge presents 80’s excess but in a way that is very current.

The Baisity couch also boasts some unique design features. For example, the front is raised on castors, the back is lower than the front and it has floating arms at either end. All in all, it’s a strong look.

If you didn’t know, B&B Italia are a big deal in the design world. We know they made it because their logo is all over it. Nothing is a guarantee of quality but this comes close.

The sofa has been re-upholstered in a chunky check, but we've left the arms in the original leather and the floating B&B cushions to match.

We were surprised to learn that this is a 60's armchair. Eugenio must have been ahead of his time because this is presenting us with all the curves we love from the vintage Italian furniture of a decade or two later.

There is no point in trying to describe this shape to you because we don’t think there is a word. But it sure is shapely and we’re vibing on it. A sprung seat means it’s not all style over substance either.

It features brand spanking new upholstery in a flat, tan velvet. 

And in case you need to know, it sits on castors. Not sure why you would need to but we’re not here to get into that.

Why we love them

We’ll admit it. These vintage black stacking chairs have a certain arachnid quality. But we’ll also admit that we don’t know why that detracts from the appeal.

If you’re in the market for some unique, sturdy, stackable chairs then you could do a lot worse. If you’re into that end-of-century look then we doubt you’ll do much better.

There’s not much more to add except maybe for the fact that they look as good stacked as they do individually. Something to bear in mind if you plan on keeping them to one side when not in use.
